Community Nutrition & Well-Being Workshops

Explore. Nourish. Connect.

Creating spaces to uncover nutrition and self-care for sustainable living.

Fuel to Flourish’s community well-being workshops blends nutrition and whole-person support while advocating for collective care.

Our workshops are tailored to meet the needs of participants and community organizers while maintaining a trauma-informed, weight-inclusive approach to better support mental well-being. We will explore various nutrition and wellness topics including seasonal eats, caring for our individual selves and others, and much more.

Body

In a historically fragmented world, it’s unfortunately common to feel disconnected from one’s body. Together, we’ll help you:

  • Reconnect with compassion, care and dignity.

  • Cut through the noise of the Wellness Industry.

  • Reclaim your right to take up space, liberating who is seen, heard and represented.

  • Recognize food and movement are not battlegrounds; but rather, places for nourishment and connection with yourself and others.

  • Promote longevity (over quick ‘fixes’).

Mind

For years, the story of health and wellness has cast away this key piece of one’s well-being. Speaking about mental health shouldn’t be taboo or seen as a negative or weakness; rather, it’s an essential part of your health and well-being. We’ll explore what it means to:

  • Know that mental health is a continuum and a part of health - for everyone.

  • Advocate for supportive, whole-person care.

  • Honor that breaks and rest are necessary for sustainable living and productivity.

  • Break stigmas through education and speaking up when struggling.

Community

Society tends to teach health and wellness from an individualistic lens and overlook the importance of holding & sharing space together. Come together as a community by:

  • Healing wounds and growing an appreciation for our similarities, differences and everything in between.

  • Allowing food to be more than a nutritional value, but rather a place to come together to share stories, culture, and community.

  • Getting to know the traditions behind your food practices and why it carries a unique healing power.
